Highlands defense’s new challenge …
The Highlands football team, which has held teams to 95 rushing yards a game this season, on Saturday will travel to Louisville Eastern, where they’ll try to stop one of the state’s top recruits.
Jon Davis, a Kentucky commit, has accounted for 505 yards of total offense and nine touchdowns through four games. If you haven’t seen him, here’s a look.
(Disclaimer: I’m not a big highlight film guy. I mean, who doesn’t look good in a highlight video? I think one gets a better feel for players while watching them on all the other plays — the ones that don’t end in touchdowns. But, it’s the best we can do here. What’s really impressive to me is seeing this kid do some of the things he’s doing considering he’s 6-3, 230. Anyway, enjoy.)
