Friday’s matchup between the top two football teams in Northern Kentucky will be broadcast on USAToday.com. The site, in an effort to enahnce its high school football coverage, is dispatching freelancers to cover some of the country’s top football programs with video webcasts.
The Bluebirds’ game against Beechwood also is tentatively planned to be broadcast according to Eric Mathews, a Lexington-based freelancer who will call the games for the site.
USA Today and The Enquirer both are owned by Gannett Company, Inc.
