Land Park Tournament starts with a runaway
Two of Sacramento’s oldest high school baseball programs, McClatchy and Sacramento, met Monday on the opening day of the three-day, eight-team, 34th annual Land Park Easter Tournament. Jake Luigi had three hits and Max Cordy drove in three runs as McClatchy won 11-1 in five innings. The tournament continues today at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on two Land Park fields, with the championship game set for 1 p.m. Wednesday.
