Frequently Asked Questions

How much is a course?

Our courses are charged a month in advance and can be cancelled at any time.  The cost per month depends on the course, but varies from £2 to £8 per month. The price of each course is shown in the course information (i)

If you have a lot of spare time to study and cancel at least 2 days before your next payment date, the course could cost you no more than £2. There are no hidden charges.

The majority of our users keep the courses for an average of 4 months as there is a lot of content in the courses - in fact the majority are a series of courses rather than one single course. However, there is no time limit on how long you keep the course either.

How long is a course?

The beauty of online learning is that you are in control: you study when you want, what you want for as long or as little time as you want. If you have lots of free time and want to study every day, then you could finish the course in 1 month.

Each course shows the number of hours it might take to complete.  The number of hours is only a guideline as it is very individual - some people like to go slowly, go back over things, other people scan, go quickly, skip things..

The main thing is that you are charged monthly at the beginning of each month. An email is sent to you to advise you of the renewal of your monthly payment, and when you have finished the course, you cancel the monthly charge. There is no minimum or maximum time for keeping the course, although we find that the average amount of time people keep their courses is around 4 months.

Do I get a certificate at the end of the course?

All MindLeaders courses ( except ECDL) have a report that you can print out that shows you have successfully completed the course. (You will need to contact us before you print this out so that we can update the user details). TPG Academy courses provide a certificate on request. The language courses do not provide certificates but the content covered does match that covered for GCSE, AS and A level exams ( UK).

Will courses provide me with a recognised qualification?

All MindLeaders courses have a mastery of completion report that you can print out or, in the case of Prince 2 and APM project management courses, request from us. These certificates prove that you have successfully completed an online course. They do not constitute recognised qualifications.

Qualifications are gained as a result of sitting an exam at an accredited examination centre. Our online courses, where specified, prepare you to take these exams. They do not replace the exam, but they replace the classroom teaching.

ECDL is the only course that does not have a successful completion report or certificate. This is because it is not permitted by the ECDL Foundation. The only certification that is available for ECDL is on passing the examination at an accredited test centre.
