Golf tourney to help raise funds for Torrance school

Golf tournament to benefit local school: Registration has opened for a July 11 golf tournament at the Palos Verdes Golf Club to raise money for Adams Elementary School and the Torrance Education Foundation.
To register for the tournament – called the Quattro Cup – contact event organizer and Adams parent James Han by phone at 213-447-1187 or by email at .
Register before Thursday and the cost is $175 per individual golfer or $600 for a foursome. After Thursday the registration cost is $225.
Participate in one of four contests to win special prizes. The crown-jewel award goes to the winner of the hole-in-one contest: a brand-new 2011 A5 Cabriolet from Pacific Audi.
