Press Conference to be held in Shreveport
Pineville, LA. … The Louisiana College Board of Trustees and Dr. Joe Aguillard, President of Louisiana College, will hold a press conference on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the University Club located on the 15th floor of the American Tower (Morgan Keegan building) in Shreveport, Louisiana. At this time an announcement will be made about the location of the Louisiana College Judge Paul Pressler School of Law, the naming of the founding Dean and the announcement of two major gifts.
Louisiana College, founded in 1906 by Louisiana Baptists is a Christian, liberal arts college offering selected professional programs for undergraduate and graduate degrees and is one of the most recognized colleges in the South. The new law school is being named for Judge Paul Pressler, III. He served as a Justice of the Texas Court of Appeals, former district judge and member of the Texas State Legislature, and key leader of the Southern Baptist Convention. Judge Pressler currently lives in Houston, Texas.
